Class Policy

Spinning at thePoint for Fitness

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the class start time. It is important that participants have adequate time to set up their bike properly.
  • Please bring a towel and a water bottle.
  • If you are new to the Spinning program and it is your first class, the instructor will show you proper bike set up.
  • For your safety, please adhere to the three hand positions and five movements of the Spinning program as directed by the Spinning instructor.
  • Please clean your bike after class. Spray bottles and cloths will be provided.
  • If you encounter any problems with your bike, discomfort on the saddle or any mechanical problems, please notify your instructor immediately.

Make-Up Ride Policy for missed Spinning classes

  • 12 hours notice of your absence for your regularly scheduled ride must be provided by phone or by e-mail.
  • The “Make-Up Ride” class must be used in a regularly scheduled class prior to the end of the current session.
  • The “Make-Up Ride” class may be used prior to the class that will be missed.
  • The “Make-Up Ride” class may be booked up to one week in advance, however, 12 hours notice of your absence must be provided by phone or e-mail or the “Make-Up Ride” will be considered used.
    Please remember that we are limited to 10 bikes; the “Make-up Ride” classes are dependent on the availability of a bike.

PRIVACY POLICIES AND PRACTICES

The purpose of this statement is to advise you of the policies and practices of The Point for Fitness (“The Point”) relating to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information and of your right to limit such collection, use or disclosure.

Personal information is information that identifies an individual or is directly associated with a specific person such as, for example, the name of an individual when that name is linked with credit card information.  All personal information collected or received by The Point is considered to be confidential and is not sold, rented or leased to third parties.

In general, The Point collects only information that allows us to contact you, to provide our products and services to you, and to verify financial payment.  This personal information includes information identifying you, records relating to the services and products you use, billing records, records of our communications with you, as well as records of your questions and communications with us.

The Point may also use and analyze personal information to identify the products and services that we believe may be of interest to you.  From time to time, we may contact you to make these products or services available to you.  The Point may also disclose personal information to its instructors in order to better serve you and provide you with the goods and services that you have requested.

The Point may be required to present personal information in statistical, analytical, or other, formats to governmental authorities and industry organizations.  Any such information will be provided in a format that does not specifically identify you.
